اہور: سیشن کورٹ نے فحش وڈیو کیس میں اداکارہ میرا اور کیپٹن نوید کے عدالت میں پیش نہ ہونے پر ایک بار پھر وارنٹ گرفتاری جاری کردیئے ہیں۔
ایکسپریس نیوز کے مطابق لاہور کی مقامی عدالت نے فحش ویڈیو کیس میں پولیس کو اداکارہ میرا اور کیپٹن نوید کو آج پیش کرنے کا حکم دیا تھا لیکن پولیس آج بھی دونوں کو پیش کرنے میں ناکام رہی جس پر سیشن جج صفدر بھٹی نے اداکارہ میرا اور کیپٹن نوید کے ایک بار پھر وارنٹ گرفتاری جاری کر دیئے ہیں۔ عدالتی حکم کی تعمیل نہ کرنے پر عدالت نے ایس ایچ او سول لائن کو بھی شوکاز نوٹس جاری کر دیا ہے جب کہ ایس پی سول لائن عمر چیمہ کو حکم دیا ہے کہ 2 اپریل کو خود آکر اس حوالے سے مکمل رپورٹ پیش کریں۔
واضح رہے کہ گزشتہ سماعت کے دوران درخواست گزار نے عدالت میں موقف اختیار کیا تھا کہ اداکارہ میرا اور کیپٹن نوید کی غیر اخلاقی وڈیو سے اسلام اور پاکستان کی بدنامی ہوئی ہے جس پر عدالت نے دونوں کی گرفتاری کا حکم جاری کیا تھا

Amity International filed a petition in the Supreme Court of Pakistan against violations of laws including PEMRA Ordinance by GEO Network and In response to the petition filed by Amity International Sindh High court has warned GEO Network to curtail the airing of Urdu foreign content in excess to the limit (6% of the entire content aired) of the day or face a permanent ban in case of failure of compliance to this order issued on 25 March 2014.

As per the PEMRA Ordinance 2002 Section 7(2), the terms of the license allow only 6% of the Foreign Content in URDU language. The allowed limit would allow Geo Network to air merely 6% of the Indian and other (including Turkish) content, which would roughly some up to merely 86 minutes. However, currently, Geo Network, on its channel Geo Kahani has been airing 70-77% foreign content, hence blatantly violating the laws and regulations set by PEMRA. The complaint by Amity International highlighted this non-compliance by Geo Network, which leads to cannibalization of local talent and production.
